Amanda Holden has been rushed to hospital after being involved in a car crash.
The pregnant star was believed to be on her way to collect her five-year-old daughter Lexi from school when she collided with a lorry in West London late this afternoon.
While the 'Britain's Got Talent' judge is understood to be "shaken", both she and her unborn baby daughter are "fine".
Following the accident, a passer-by took Amanda - who announced her pregnancy a fortnight ago - to hospital, where she was given a thorough check over by doctors.
The 40-year-old star's spokesperson said: "The lorry is fine. Amanda's car isn't. Amanda is so grateful to her good Samaritan."
Amanda - who tragically lost her baby son in February when she was just two months away from reaching full-term - recently admitted she and her husband Chris Hughes are confident everything will be "fine" with this pregnancy.
She said: "The funny thing is that this time I just know everything is going to be fine. Even Chris, who usually says, 'I hope so' whenever I ask for reassurance, now says, 'I know so.'
"And we both agreed that rather than keep it secret for ages like before, we would tell people as soon as we were sure it was safe.
"When I found out this time that I was pregnant, I burst into tears. I never dreamt it would happen so quickly, so when it did we both decided that we would try not to think about it until I reached the 12-week mark. Now that we have and I know that everything's fine, I feel like we can really enjoy it."
Amanda has had to pull out of her role as Princess Fiona in tonight's (07.09.11) performance of 'Shrek: The Musical'.
