TOWIE's Mark and Lauren fell out of love
'The Only Way Is Essex' star James 'Arg' Argent thinks the split between Mark Wright and Lauren Goodger is permanent as they've fallen out of love
James 'Arg' Argent thinks the split between Mark Wright and Lauren Goodger is permanent.
The 'Only Way Is Essex' stars called time on their on/off 10-year relationship last month and James - who is best friends with Mark but also close to Lauren - doesn't believe they'll get back together again.
He said: "This time it's different. There's no shouting, screaming, crying. They're both calm, like they've thought about it for a while. I genuinely think it's over.
"They just started to fall out of love. I don't think they make each other happy anymore."
James says the couple - who got engaged earlier this year - decided to end things because they realised they were making each other miserable.
He told new! magazine: "I think it was a mutual thing. They sat down and Mark said, 'What's going on? Neither of us is happy. I feel like love's not enough and I think we need to be apart to realise what we want.'
"This time Lauren wasn't crying and wanting him back. She said that she's not happy either and seemed to agree with what Mark was saying."
When asked if he thinks Mark and Lauren will get back together, James said: "Never say never, but just at the moment I think it's the right thing for them to separate."
