Louis Walsh is said to be "furious" after 'X Factor' bosses forced him to pick a novelty finalist.
The Irish judge - who has put through twin singing sensation Jedward and eccentric Brazilian Wagner to the final stages of the ITV2 competition in recent years - is concerned including yet another controversial contestant will damage his credibility on the panel.
A show insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Louis means business, but in the end the producers got their way and one of his finalists is a bit more outlandish than he would have liked."
Meanwhile, 'X Factor' hopeful Kitty Brucknell - who has been dubbed this year's answer to Katie Waissel - has revealed she has received death threats since her audition was broadcast on last week's launch show.
She told The Sun newspaper: "I have had death threats on the internet. People don't like confidence."
"I hope people write better things about me."
However, 'X Factor' bosses have confirmed they are doing everything in their power to protect the welfare of vulnerable contestants like Britney Spears impersonator Kitty.
A spokesperson said: "The welfare and safety of contestants is of paramount importance."
