Kate Copstick: Pat is a warm-up man got lucky

Kate Copstick thinks 'Show Me The Funny' finalist Pat Monahan is a "warm-up man got lucky".
The Glasgow-born comedienne - who judges the ITV1 show alongside Alan Davies and a different guest panellist each week - believes the 35-year-old funnyman needs to prove himself as a "proper stand up" at tonight's (25.08.11) live final at London's Hammersmith Apollo.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "We need finally to hear his voice, his original material. He can't go around the Hammersmith Apollo hugging people and you can't just talk to the front row in a venue that size.
"I am really looking forward to seeing Pat as a proper stand up and not a warm-up man got lucky."
Meanwhile, Kate - who has been known for her harsh critique of the contestants throughout the series - also slammed Tiffany Stevenson as "the bread roll that is just there to hold the interesting filling".
She added: "Tiffany needs to convince us that she really has a voice, that she has something to say - not just a load of the kind of stuff you might fling in if you were MC-ing a gig.
"She needs to stop being the bread roll that is just there to hold the interesting filling. She needs to get some identity herself."
Pat, Tiffany and Dan Mitchell will all battle it out in tonight's final - hosted by Jason Manford - in the hope of winning a £100,000 prize, a nationwide tour and a Christmas DVD deal.
The live 'Show Me The Funny' final is on ITV1 tonight (25.08.11) at 9pm
