Corrie's Sally and Kevin to reunite
Coronation Street's Sally and Kevin Webster are to reunite for a steamy night of passion, which could ultimately see them get back together for good
Coronation Street's Sally and Kevin Webster are to reunite for a steamy night of passion.
The pair - played by Sally Dynevor and Michael Le Vell - split last Christmas when it was revealed in the wake of the tram crash disaster that Kevin was the secret father of Molly Dobbs' (Vicky Binns) baby son Jack.
While a furious Sally threw the love rat out of the family home, she eventually let him move back in when he broke his collarbone in an accident.
However, the couple - who have been on and off in the ITV1 soap since 1986, with their marriage being plagued by a number of affairs - will rekindle their romance next month when Sally rushes to comfort Kevin when his dad suffers a heart attack.
But if the reunion is for good, it could see the pair raise baby Jack as their own.
An insider said: "Kevin can't wait to tell everyone - including his dad - that they're back together again.
"He loves Sally and had ended the affair well before she found out."
It is thought the move will also please 'Coronation Street' fans, who were displeased with the "unrealistic" nature of Kevin and Molly's affair storyline.
The source added to The Sun newspaper: "Fans will be thrilled for them too, as last year many felt the affair storyline was unrealistic."
