Kelly Rowland has reportedly snapped up her old pal Usher to be her sidekick at the Judges' Houses stage of the ITV1 talent show next month, when she will jet to a glitzy house in Miami to whittle down eight contestants to four finalists.
An insider revealed: "Kelly has a lot of friends in high places but has asked Usher to be her wingman. He loves the show as he's been on it a few times and gets on well with Simon Cowell and the top brass.
"Plus, he knows a thing or two about finding new talent as he was the man who discovered Justin Bieber. It's fair to say Bieber has done pretty well for himself since."
Meanwhile, Tulisa Contostavlos has rejected N-Dubz bandmates Dappy and Fazer in favour of having 'Pass Out' hitmaker Tinie by her side as she selects her four finalists.
A source added to The Sun newspaper: "Tulisa knows Tinie really well and would love for him to join her with the contestants once they are through bootcamp.
"She originally planned for her N-Dubz bandmates Dappy and Fazer to join her but the show producers thought that was a gamble.
"Tinie knows the show is huge and realised it would be great for his profile. He has a few things to wriggle out of, but is determined to be involved."
Gary Barlow is thought to be heading to Take That bandmate Robbie Williams' mansion in Los Angeles, with the 'Angels' hitmaker acting as a mentor to Gary's acts, while Louis Walsh is expected to enlist the help of Sharon Osbourne and jet off to glamourous St Tropez in the South of France.
