Kelly Rowland and Tulisa Contostavlos phone each other to ensure their colours don't clash on 'The X Factor'.
The ITV1 talent show's female judges take their fashion choices seriously and are constantly making sure they are co-ordinated when they appear on TV screens together.
Caroline Flack - who hosts the ITV2 spin-off show 'The Xtra Factor' alongside Olly Murs - told heat magazine: "Kelly Rowland and Tulisa actually phone each other to find out what the other's wearing, to make sure they don't turn up in the same colour."
Caroline also added the girls - who are joined on the judging panel by Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh - aren't the only ones who are vain on set, as her co-host Olly also spends plenty of time grooming himself.
She added: "He's more of a girl than I am. He takes so long getting ready."
When asked if she fancies him, Caroline replied: "He's very attractive. But I see him as more of a stepbrother."
Caroline has previously complemented Kelly and Tulisa for their enviable figures.
She said: "Kelly has the tiniest waist I've ever seen - it's the size of my neck. Tulisa is much taller than me - gorgeous. I'm a little bit envious to be honest."
'The X Factor' returns to ITV1 on Saturday (20.08.11).
