X Factor finalists to be filmed round the clock
'X Factor' finalists are reportedly set to be given unlimited alcohol and filmed round the clock in a bid to spice up the show.
'X Factor' finalists are to be filmed 24 hours a day.
Show bosses are seeking to make the show even more exciting this year, and as well as round-the-clock video footage, insiders claim that the house where those taking part in the live show will stay during the final stages of the competition will feature alcohol-stocked fridges in each bedroom - only if the contestants are above the legal age of drinking - and nightly pool parties.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Producers want scandal sex and break-ups.
"They know it will freshen up the series and boost ratings.
"The house is going to be one long party for the singers and it will all be filmed to titillate viewers."
According to the insider, show supremo Simon Cowell - who has quit the judging panel to work on the US version of the programme - decided to film the contestants all day, every day after seeing the popularity of fly-on-the-wall series 'The Only Way Is Essex'.
'The X Factor' returns to ITV1 this Saturday (20.08.11), with Dermot O'Leary as host and existing judge Louis Walsh joined by new panellists Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos and Kelly Rowland.
