Locomotives strangest experience at one of their shows had ''fake blood coming out the walls''

Locomotives weirdest show had "fake blood coming out the walls".

The 'Carnival' band have played all over the country, but their strangest experience came when they played at a festival in Manchester, northern England.

Bass player Greg told BANG Showbiz: "We had this festival up in Manchester, and someone told us it would be a really good thing to do.

"We rocked up to this place and it was just an empty room. It was like the inside of something like Alton Towers theme park, with fake blood coming out the walls!"

The band - which also consists of singer and guitarist Val, guitarist Chris and Drummer George - have also built their own home studio on the advice of producer Adrian Bushby who has previously worked with Foo Fighters My Bloody Valentine, U2, Placebo and Depeche Mode.

Greg added: "He made it quite clear that we should choose where to go and that's why he was like 'build a studio and record the songs that you want to do and sort of take 'em to the world rather than anyone else' and that was refreshing for him to tell us.

"And he helped us choose the best sort of stuff to do and we went into the studio and record the album for the last year or so."

Locomotives are hoping to release their as-yet-untitled debut album in September.
