Tulisa Contostavlos was ''shocked'' at how harsh Gary Barlow is on 'The X Factor' judging panel
Tulisa Contostavlos was "shocked" by how harsh Gary Barlow is on 'The X Factor'.
The N-Dubz singer - who judges the ITV1 show alongside Gary, Louis Walsh and Kelly Rowland - admitted the Take That star is her "biggest competition" as the pair battle it out to fill the 'Mr. Nasty' position on the panel.
She said: "Gary is my biggest competition - especially when it comes to speaking his mind. I thought I was bad, but Gary is the shocker. He is harsh. "Gary always speaks his mind, if they are s**t he will tell you.
"He just amazes me with what he comes out with. With me it's Tulisa being Tulisa. Curbing Gary will be hard."
Meanwhile, the 23-year-old star - who replaced Cheryl Cole on the judging panel - is hoping to bring along cousin and bandmate Dappy to be a mentor on the show.
Tulisa added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I want him as a mentor for one of the groups. He will be so funny, out of control. I really want him involved.
"I don't know if it will happen but it's something I am fighting for. I think all the contestants will love him."
