Amy Childs slams TOWIE soap plans

Amy Childs thinks it's a bad idea to show 'The Only Way Is Essex' 48 weeks of the year.
The 21-year-old reality TV star - who appears in the ITV2 series alongside the likes of Mark Wright, Lydia Bright and Joey Essex - believes having the programme air 11 months of the year would ruin the "suspense" of 'TOWIE'.
She said: "I read that there are talks about having 'TOWIE' on every week, all year round. I really don't think this is a good idea and hope it doesn't happen.
"'TOWIE' fans love the suspense and look forward to the next series to find out how the storylines unfold."
The redhead beauty - who was one of the stand-out stars of the first series of the show - thinks the programme would lose the "drama" viewers have come to love, and only feature the ups and downs of co-stars Mark Wright and Lauren Goodger's tumultuous relationship.
Writing in her column for new! magazine, Amy added: " I'm worried that if it was on all the time, people would get bored and it would lose all the drama.
"After all, how many times can we watch Mark and Lauren break up and get back together in one week? Only joking!"
