Kat Moon to have miscarriage
'EastEnders' couple Kat and Alfie Moon's marriage will be shaken after she suffers a miscarriage and he suspects her of cheating.
'EastEnders' characters Kat and Alfie Moon will be left devastated after she suffers a miscarriage.
The couple - who have already had to deal with the supposed death of baby Tommy before discovering he had been swapped by Ronnie Branning for her dead tot - are thrilled to discover Kat (Jessie Wallace) is expecting but tragedy is in store.
An insider said: "The fact that Kat gets pregnant at all is amazing. Alfie has believed that he was infertile after trying to have kids with his wife for ages with no luck. So when Kat finds out that she's expecting, it's devastating not least because it raises some big questions in Alfie's mind."
Although Alfie (Shane Richie) forgave Kat after she cheated on him with his cousin Michael Moon resulting in baby Tommy, it is doubtful if he would get over another betrayal.
The source added to Inside Soap magazine: "Who can blame Alfie for asking some questions here? He stood by Kat while she had his cousin's baby and through the misery of losing baby Tommy. It would be absolutely devastating for him to learn that all this tragedy has driven them apart again."
