Michael Moon a murderer?
Steve John Shepherd thinks his 'EastEnders' alter ego Michael Moon is ''capable'' of murder - but would get someone else to do the ''dirty work''
Steve John Shepherd thinks his 'EastEnders' alter ego is "capable" of murder.
The actor's character Michael Moon has already shown signs of ruthless behaviour since he arrived in Walford earlier this year and as his resentment towards his dad Eddie - who he blames for his mother's suicide - continues to grow, Steve believes anything could happen.
Asked if he thinks Michael is capable of murder, Steve said: "We all are, aren't we? He's not a physical fighter so he'd get somebody else to do the dirty work, but he is capable of killing.
"He'll go to some very dark places in his quest for revenge."
Steve also thinks Michael wouldn't be afraid to manipulate half-brothers Tyler (Tony Dscipline) and Anthony (Matt Lapinskas) - who arrived in Albert Square next week - into getting involved in his twisted scheme.
He told All About Soap magazine: "Of course he would use them - Michael doesn't care about collateral damage. Anthony idolises Michael, which Michael is aware of, but he's totally immune to that at the moment.
"There are a lot of layers he needs to get through before he starts playing happy families with his two brothers."
