Susan Boyle fan wows X Factor judges
Roger Boyd, a 32-year-old ''geek'' whose biggest influence is Susan Boyle, wowed the 'X Factor' judges at auditions in Liverpool
A geeky Susan Boyle fan has been tipped for success on 'The X Factor'.
Roger Boyd - who told the panel the former 'Britain's Got Talent' contestant is his inspiration, and he even named his cat Pebbles after the Scottish singing sensation's pet - wowed judges Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh, Kelly Rowland and Tulisa Contostavlos with his audition at the Liverpool Echo Arena.
However, insiders expect the 32-year-old off-license worker to be given a big makeover if he progresses to the later stages of the competition.
An insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Just like SuBo, Roger looked a bit geeky and not an obvious star when he walked on without much stage presence, but he launched into Meatloaf's 'I'd Do Anything For Love' and the crowd went wild.
"The judges had no hesitation in putting Roger through. If he gets to the finals he will be given a great makeover."
Following his performance, Gary said: "I absolutely loved it. That was great."
Louis added: "Why didn't we come here before?"
'The X Factor' returns to ITV1 next month.
