EastEnders' Janine Malloy's millionaire dream could come crashing to a halt when her uncle announces he's contesting her beloved late gran's will.
Janine Malloy's millionaire dream could come crashing to a halt when her uncle announces he's contesting her late gran's will.
The 'EastEnders' vixen - played by Charlie Brooks - has enjoyed splashing the cash in front of her neighbours ever since she discovered she had inherited millions from her beloved nan Lydia Simmonds (Heather Chasen).
However, her days of swanning around Albert Square in a chauffer driven Rolls Royce could come to an early end when her uncle, Norman Simmonds (George Layton), tells the scheming blonde he doesn't think she should have the money after all.
Facing up to the fact that she may lose the cash altogether if he does contest the will, Janine quickly realises money can't buy her happiness.
An 'EastEnders' insider added to Inside Soap magazine: "They say that money can't buy you happiness - and in Janine's case that seems to be true. Her windfall's made her even more unpopular than ever!
"Even Ricky (Sid Owen) wants nothing to do with his sister - so when she hands him an envelope containing cash, he just tears it up."
