Tulisa Contostavlos fears fan reactions
Tulisa Contostavlos has admitted she is terrified about receiving a negative response from 'X Factor' fans over her inclusion on the judging panel on the show
Tulisa Contostavlos is terrified 'X Factor' fans will "hate" her.
The N-Dubz star is one of three new faces on the judging panel - with Kelly Rowland and Gary Barlow also joining alongside existing panellist Louis Walsh - and while she appears to be confident, she admits she is worried about being thought of as a "chav" who shouldn't have landed the coveted job.
She said: "I'm scared and nervous about the whole thing. I want to know where I stand and how I'm perceived but until the shows are on air I won't know.
"If people hate me I want to know sooner so I can get on with it. But obviously I'd prefer them to like me. I don't act scared but it's all front.
"Inside I'm still worried that everybody will be watching and thinking, 'How did she get the job?' I really have to prove myself now and show that I can find talent."
Both Tulisa and Kelly have won praise for their fashion choices during the audition process, but the British singer insists there is no rivalry between them and they even discuss their wardrobes in order to ensure they won't clash.
She told the Daily Star newspaper: "My and Kelly knew they'd make a rivalry between us from the beginning and we talked very openly about it. Now it's more of a joke.
"We check what colours each other has on before the day, so if she's wearing white, I'll wear black.
"I'll say, 'I'm well winning the style war today Kelly' and we laugh about it."
