Former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson is thought to be in line to appear on 'Celebrity Big Brother'
Mike Tyson is in line to appear on 'Celebrity Big Brother'.
The former heavyweight boxing champion - who was jailed for raping beauty queen Desiree Washington in 1992 - is reportedly set to join an "amazing" cast on the celebrity version of the reality show when it re-launches on Channel 5 in August.
A show source told the Daily Star newspaper: "To get Mike Tyson on 'Big Brother' would be an amazing coup.
"The celebs being lined up for the new Channel 5 show are just amazing - it's going to be must-see television this summer."
Mike - whose four-year-old daughter Exodus died following an accident at her mother Monica's house in 2009 - joins a number of stars linked with 'Celebrity Big Brother', including Irish pop duo Jedward who have reportedly been offered £1 million to star on the programme.
Producers of the show - which is set to air on Channel 5 for the first time after being axed from Channel 4 last year - are also thought to have Charlie Sheen, Harrods owner Mohamed Al-Fayed and former 'Big Brother' star Imogen Thomas on their wish list.
The 45-year-old controversial boxer - who infamously bit off part of opponent Evander Holyfield's ear during a bout - has quit drugs and recently renewed his wedding vows with his wife Lakiha Spicer Tyson.
