Louis Walsh's accuser has been arrested for making "false allegations" about 'The X Factor' judge.
The 24-year-old man - who had claimed the 57-year-old music mogul indecently assaulted him in the toilets of a Dublin nightclub - has reportedly been taken in for questioning by Irish police after the case was officially dropped earlier today (28.06.11).
According to The Irish Times newspaper, the man has been arrested under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act on suspicion of making a false statement of complaint to police in which the allegations against Louis were made.
In a statement made this morning, Louis explained he would be seeking "total and absolute vindication" for the stress the ordeal has caused him.
He said: "I have no intention of letting this matter rest until I have received total and absolute vindication.
"This has been a hugely distressing time for me but I would like to thank all my friends and colleagues for their support and I am now just looking forward to getting back to work."
Louis is expected to return to 'The X Factor' auditions in Cardiff tomorrow (29.06.11).
