Ronnie Branning framed for kidnap
Ronnie Branning is to face more heartbreak when Michael Moon frames her for kidnapping Tommy Moon again just before she is due to stand trial.
Ronnie Branning will be accused of trying to kidnap Tommy Moon for the second time when Michael Moon frames her.
The disturbed blonde is to face trial after swapping her dead son James with Kat and Alfie Moon's little boy, allowing them to think he had died, but police will suspect she is up to her old tricks again when Michael (Steve John Shepherd) claims he saw her trying to break into the Queen Vic after Ronnie rejects his advances.
Samantha Womack - who plays Ronnie - said: "Ronnie's stunned when the police arrive. She hasn't been anywhere near the pub but no one believes her.
"Ronnie just can't understand Michael, she tried to be sympathetic but all he's done is try to frame her and it knocks her for six."
Michael's final act of evil involves texting Ronnie from her sister Roxy's (Rita Simons) phone - who he is dating - asking her to come to the park, where she finds Tommy alone crying.
Samantha added to Inside Soap magazine: "Ronnie doesn't think for one moment that she's about to be set up again. She finds Tommy unattended and goes to comfort him - just as Kat and Alfie (Jessie Wallace and Shane Richie) arrive, having been called by Michael.
"Ronnie tries to explain what's happened but they just want her as far away from their son as possible."
