Louis Walsh returning to work
Louis Walsh ahs declined an offer from 'X Factor' bosses to take time off following allegations he groped a man in a nightclub
Louis Walsh "can't wait" to return to work.
The Irish music mogul has been accused of groping a 24-year-old man he met in a Dublin nightclub, but insists he won't let the claims put him off taking his place at the next set of 'X Factor' auditions in Cardiff on Wednesday (29.06.11).
He told a friend: "These lies won't stop me taking my place on that panel.
"I have nothing to be ashamed of. I can't wait to get stuck in to doing what I love and nothing will stop me."
Show chiefs had vowed to give Louis time off following the allegation but he turned down the offer.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Louis doesn't want to let anyone down."
Yesterday (24.06.11), Louis met with police in Dublin to discuss the allegations, which he vehemently denies.
A source said: "Louis met police by mutual agreement, he did not meet them at a police station or at his home. He welcomed the chance to give his side of things and to start the bid to clear his good name."
Police sources claim it is "very unlikely" that the TV talent show judge will be charged with any offences because of a lack of CCTV evidence and the fact the complainant has allegedly changed his story several times.
An insider told the Daily Mail newspaper: "There has been a change of story a few times and there is no evidence at this stage that backs up the man's claims.
"The CCTV footage shows very little and at this stage there are no immediate plans to interview anybody else in connection with this."
