Dermot O' Leary: Tulisa Contostavlos is a little scrapper
Dermot O'Leary thinks new 'X Factor' judge Tulisa Contostavlos is ''a little scrapper''
Dermot O'Leary thinks Tulisa Contostavlos is "a little scrapper".
The 'X Factor' host explained the N-Dubz star - who is joined on the ITV1 show's judging panel by Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Kelly Rowland - has already shown her feisty side in the auditions stage of the competition.
He said: "Tulisa from N-Dubz has been brilliant because she's a real little scrapper."
Meanwhile, Dermot admitted Take That singer Gary is "extraordinary" as a judge, and he has even taken over from Simon Cowell - who quit the series earlier this year to launch the US 'X Factor' - as the panel's Mr. Nasty by asking one female contestant if she used to be a man.
Dermot added to Absolute Radio's Christian O'Connell Breakfast Show: "Barlow is extraordinary. We had a situation. There was one line where we couldn't believe he said it where a woman came on and she finished singing and she wasn't even that bad and Gary says, 'I've just got one question to ask. Have you always been a woman?' It was genius.
"I thought, 'I can't believe you've said that'. It was brilliant. The thing about Gary is there is no way you can turn around and say, 'You don't know what you're talking about' because he's Gary Barlow."
