Jedward have been offered £1 million to appear on 'Celebrity Big Brother'.

The twin singing sensation - who shot to fame on 'The X Factor' in 2009 - are said to be thrilled with the deal, which will bag them £500,000 each if they agree to be a part of the celebrity version of the reality show when it re-launches on Channel 5 in August.

An insider told The Sun newspaper: "The lads can't believe their luck - a cool half million each"

After being axed by Channel 4 last year, Channel 5 bosses are keen to ensure 'Big Brother' comes back with a bang when it returns to TV screens later this summer.

As well as Jedward - real names John and Edward Grimes - troubled actor Charlie Sheen, Wayne Rooney's call girl Helen Wood, former Harrods owner Mohamed Fayed and Imogen Thomas, who shot to fame on 'Big Brother' in 2006, all on producer's wish-lists.

However, Jedward could be set to face a difficult decision, as they have also reportedly been offered places on the upcoming series of 'I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!' after impressing TV chiefs with their performance at this year's Eurovision Song Contest.

A source recently explained: "Whatever your thoughts are on Jedward's music, you can't argue that the lads are great entertainment."
