Louis Walsh is being investigated by police over claims he indecently assaulted a man in a nightclub toilet.
The 'X Factor' judge allegedly molested a 24-year-old dad by groping his groin area after they met in a Dublin bar following a recent Westlife concert.
According to The Sun newspaper, the reported attack took place in the early hours of April 10 in the city's Krystle nightclub, inside Dublin's Russell Court Hotel.
However, Louis has slammed the allegations as "wholly false" and has said he will "co-operate fully" with the police as they examine CCTV footage and film from the hotel where the pair met.
He explained: "The allegations made against me are wholly false and with no foundation. I will happily cooperate fully with the police and am 100 per cent confident that after a full investigation I will be fully exonerated."
A police source added that the investigation is "ongoing".
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the 58-year-old confirmed Louis "categorically denies" the allegations, and is prepared to "fight" to clear his name.
The representative said: "He vigorously denies all of the allegations. If contacted by the police he will willingly co-operate with any investigation. Louis categorically denies any wrongdoing and will fight to clear his name."
