Leon Doyle became the latest candidate to be fired from 'The Apprentice' last night (22.06.11).
The 26-year-old fast food marketing entrepreneur - who failed to impress in a task which required the budding business brains to sell unique British products to French retailers - was given the boot by Lord Alan Sugar for his lack of involvement in the challenge.
However, Leon concedes that he should have "pulled his weight" more, rather than letting Melody Hossaini take charge.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Well, Lord Sugar is the best in the business and if he thinks I'm not up to it then I'm obviously not.
"To be honest, I probably wasn't pulling my weight as much as I should have been - I should have got involved a bit more and not let Melody sit back and take charge. I just let her get on with it and dug a hole for myself."
While Leon thinks project manager Tom Pellereau was responsible for the overall failure of the task, he believes Irish charmer Jim Eastwood has got winning the BBC One show "in the bag".
He added: "Jim has totally got it in the bag. I'm sure of it. He puts all the effort in all the time and is a good people person. He knows how to handle himself and he's a good leader."
