Melody Thornton has been voted off 'Popstar to Operastar'.
The former Pussycat Dolls singer was sent home by judges Katherine Jenkins, Simon Callow, Rolando Villazon and Vanessa Mae after finding herself in the bottom two alongside Toploader star Joe Washbourne.
Speaking afterwards, Melody admitted she hoped her appearance would inspire people to try something new.
She said: "Honestly, I just tried to relax as much as possible. I'm not here for me. I want people to be inspired and to do something they don't ordinarily do. I think I'm not in my home here and I could have used some more support. I'm so grateful for people who did support me.
"I really want people in the world to step outside the box and do something they wouldn't usually do."
Despite being voted off the show, Melody had earlier won praise from the judges for her performance of 'Mon Coeur S'Ouvre a ta Voix' from 'Samson and Delilah'.
Rolando said: "I think you showed something tender and vulnerable in your interpretation, I think you did a good job"
Vanessa added: "I was moved as I got the feeling you really enjoyed yourself. Dramatically I really enjoyed it."
Elsewhere, Erasure's Andy Bell forgot many of the words to his song, 'Non Piu Andre', but Rolando told him he had done an "impressive" job of hiding his nerves and covering his slip-ups, while Cheryl Baker and Claire Richards received overwhelming praise from the panel.
Vanessa described Claire as "outstanding", while Simon said: "The confidence was absolutely staggering, and you also gave us the character."
Katherine told Cheryl: "Cheryl there has been such a difference this is so much harder and you technically hit this head on."
'Popstar To Operastar' continues next week on ITV1.
