Christine Bleakley won't have 'tacky celebrity wedding'
Christine Bleakley wants to have a small intimate marriage to Frank Lampard and won't have a ''tacky celebrity wedding''.
Christine Bleakley won't have a "tacky celebrity wedding" to footballer Frank Lampard.
The 32-year-old sports star proposed to the 'Daybreak' presenter in Los Angeles last week, and she is now busy planning their nuptials, and thinking about holding an intimate ceremony in her native Northern Ireland.
A source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "Christine can't wait to get married and Frank has said whatever she wants is fine by him.
"Money obviously isn't a problem and Frank wants everything to be perfect for Christine. She definitely wants the wedding in Northern Ireland - it's just a case of logistics.
"It isn't going to be some tacky celebrity wedding though - despite a string of magazines being in touch. This is a day purely about them and their families and close friends."
Christine has previously revealed she was "beyond shocked" when the Chelsea midfielder - who was previously in a relationship with Spanish beauty Elen Rivas for seven years until 2008 - popped the question while they were on holiday in the US.
She said: "I was beyond shocked. It was very personal, very private actually, and we were just having a gorgeous lunch by the beach and he simply popped the question. It was completely out of the blue.
"He started to build up to it and he got a little bit lovey-dovey. And half-way through the lovey-dovey bit, I realised what he was about to do so I started to cry. I started to cry for about ten minutes and then he pulled the ring out and said, Will you marry me?' and that was it!"
