Corrie duo to launch stripper agency
Coronation Street's Tommy Duckworth and Kylie Platt are to launch their own stripper agency in Weatherfield.
Coronation Street's Tommy Duckworth and Kylie Platt are to launch their own stripper agency.
The dodgy duo - played by Chris Fountain and Paula Lane - will come up with the idea after Kylie's grandmother-in-law Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) fires her from her hairdressing business after carrying out fake holistic therapies on customers.
With Weatherfield womaniser Tommy currently out of work, Kylie persuades him to help her start up the agency.
Although the deceptive brunette's new husband David Platt - played by Jack P Shepherd - is less than thrilled at his wife's choice of business, he soon gets used to the idea once the money starts rolling in after the demand for male and female strippers in the area skyrockets.
The pair will then go on the hunt for the perfect bloke to perform at an upcoming hen night, and decide to make local hunk Jason Grimshaw (Ryan Thomas) an offer he can't refuse.
However, his ditzy girlfriend Rosie Webster (Helen Flanagan) is immediately seething at the idea and offers her own stripping services to the duo.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: "The cast are joking about who will be called on to strip. Even Ken Barlow might do a turn for the over-70s."
