Paloma Faith doesn't think she's ''emotionally equipped'' to judge 'The X Factor', as her opinion isn't valid enough

Paloma Faith doesn't think she's "emotionally equipped" enough to judge 'The X Factor'.

The 'Upside Down' hitmaker explained she wouldn't feel qualified to cope with "all the hatred" the show's panellists - Louis Walsh, Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos and Kelly Rowland - have to deal with on a daily basis, as her opinion isn't valid enough.

She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I've always said to myself I wouldn't ever judge 'The X Factor' because I just don't think I'm emotionally-equipped to deal with all the hatred that people have to deal with.

"I hate the way people have to make themselves feel valid on the show, when my opinion is actually pretty in-valid."

Despite her successes in the music world, the 25-year-old singer admitted she still doubts whether her career will be long-term because the industry is "very fickle".

Speaking at Alicia Keys' 2011 Keep A Child Alive Black Ball at London's Roundhouse Theatre last night (15.06.11), Paloma added: "In 10 years, I'd like to know that my career was long-term.

"It always feels very fickle, this industry. I just want to sustain a successful career and not be so chaotic."
