Debbie Dingle's miscarriage secret
Emmerdale's Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) fails to tell boyfriend Cameron Murray about her miscarriage until he is about to reveal to his sons she is pregnant
Emmerdale's Debbie Dingle struggles to break the news of her miscarriage to her boyfriend.
The distraught blonde - played by Charley Webb - eventually comes clean to Cameron Murray about her tragic loss as he is about to tell his sons they will be getting a little brother or sister.
Dominic Power, who plays Cameron, said: "Cameron is about to tell the boys that Debbie's pregnant.
"She sends the boys to beds and tells them the truth. Inside Cameron is devastated - but he tries to be as sensitive as possible, for Debbie's sake. He doesn't want her to feel any worse than she already does."
The couple struggle to reveal their true feelings to one another, and at first try to insist the news was for the best in the long term.
Dominic explained: "They both cover up their true feelings, despite being incredibly upset.
"Cameron is very aware of how difficult Debbie is finding this, so he wants to help her feels better. Meanwhile, Debbie is also trying to do the same for him."
Dominic believes the miscarriage will put a strain on his alter ego's new relationship, but he is hopeful they can get through their rough patch.
He told Inside Soap magazine: "It's going to be a strain, of course it is - and Debbie and Cameron have quite a volatile relationship most of the time.
"They face a tough future until everything blows over. But it's down to Cameron to keep himself in check and try to be more sensitive."
