Tulisa reduced to tears at X Factor auditions

Tulisa Contostavlos was reduced to tears after the 'X Factor' audience called for the reinstatement of Cheryl Cole yesterday (14.06.11).
The N-Dubz star - who recently stepped into the shoes of the singer on the ITV1 show's judging panel - was upset when the crowd at Manchester's EventCity arena heckled her as she criticised contestant Laverne Scott-Roberts for not "connecting with the audience".
To make matters worse, fellow panellist Gary Barlow added: "I don't know what you're going on about Tulisa."
Kelly Rowland has also joined the show, leaving Louis Walsh as the only remaining original judge on the panel, but fans believe the format is suffering without Cheryl and music mogul Simon Cowell.
A source said: "It's strange without Simon, but the format's really missing Cheryl."
However, Tulisa is not the only judge being blasted by fans.
The talent show has been branded a fix after boyband The Mend - formed by Take That's manager Nigel Martin-Smith - made it through to the next round of the competition.
One said: "I suppose it's just a coincidence they were put together by Take That's old manager."
An 'X Factor' spokeswoman denied the claims, telling The Sun newspaper: "They were popular with everyone and got massive applause from the audience."
