Tulisa Contostavlos: I'll never be Cheryl Cole
Tulisa Contostavlos has admitted while she is ''nervous'' about her new judging role on 'The X Factor', she will never try to replace Cheryl Cole or Dannii Minogue
Tulisa Contostavlos will "never be" Cheryl Cole.
The 'X Factor' judge - who recently stepped into the shoes of the singer on the ITV1 show's judging panel - admitted while she is "nervous" about her new role, she will never try to replace Cheryl or fellow former panellist Dannii Minogue.
She said: "I'm really nervous. I've had so many mixed emotions this week. I feel pressure - but I don't feel like I'm stepping into anyone else's shoes because I could never be Cheryl or Dannii.
"And I feel like I've earned by spot on the judging panel. I'm involved in writing, producing and singing, so it's not like I've just had a couple of lucky hits and that's it."
However, if Tulisa wasn't a member of chart-toppers N-Dubz, she would be prepared to audition for the talent show in the hope of getting her big break.
She added to heat magazine: "If I wasn't in N-Dubz right now, I would audition for 'The X Factor'. I've always loved the show. It gives people who are diamonds in the rough a great chance of exposure.
"I stand for being yourself - do not get fooled by this gassed-up industry, because in truth it's actually complete b******s. I will not pretend that I like everyone and that everything's la-de-dah, because that's a load of sh*t."
