Patsy Palmer in demand for EastEnders return
Patsy Palmer is being urged by her fans to make a return to 'EastEnders' after leaving the BBC One soap last year to go on maternity leave.
Patsy Palmer has been begged by her fans to return to 'EastEnders'.
The flame-haired actress - who plays Bianca Butcher in the BBC One soap - went on maternity leave last year and while viewers have been urging her to make a comeback, she is yet to arrange a date for her feisty alter-ego's return and after receiving "some other amazing offers" of work.
She told Hello! magazine: "I haven't signed on the dotted line yet and have had some other amazing offers.
"But it would be good to see Bianca back onscreen, if only to stop my fans asking me. They never say, 'Hello', just, 'When are you going back?' "
The 39-year-old actress - who first appeared in 'EastEnders' in 1993 - gave birth to her fourth child Bertie in December.
But things might not be the same for Bianca when she does return, as Patsy recently explained she thinks her character will be a "different person" when she returns to Albert Square from a stint behind bars.
She said: "It was quite nice playing an older, wiser Bianca. Now she's in prison, I'm sure she'll come out and be a different person, so if I do go back it'll be a new challenge."
