Michelle Keegan wants David Platt romance
Michelle Keegan is keen for her feisty 'Coronation Street' alter-ego Tina McIntyre to get back together with former flame David Platt
Michelle Keegan is keen for her 'Coronation Street' alter-ego to get back together with David Platt.
The 24-year-old actress - who plays brunette bombshell Tina McIntyre in the ITV1 soap - explained with the character's boyfriend Graeme Proctor (Craig Gazey) having done the dirty on her with best friend Xin Chiang (Elizabeth Tan), she is keen for Tina to cause havoc for her former flame in his new relationship with scheming Kylie Turner.
Michelle said: "I think it would be great if Tina got back with David (Jack P Shepherd) - I love them together.
"Tina and Kylie (Paula Lane) don't get on anyway, so Kylie should look out. All I can say is, watch this space!"
However, if the pint-pulling beauty can't get her claws into David, Michelle thinks a steamy romance with Weatherfield womaniser Tommy Duckworth (Chris Fountain) or Irish hunk Ciaran McCarthy - played by Boyzone singer Keith Duffy - could be on the cards.
She added to Inside Soap magazine: "Tina might have a go at Tommy - or Ciaran McCarthy when he's back on the Street.
"Mind you, she'd have to get past Michelle Connor first!"
