The 59-year-old pianist is trying desperately to stop 70-year-old Bob Ware - who has undergone three horrific heart operations in the last month - from getting too excited over her performance because doctors have warned it could send his pacemaker into overdrive.
Jean - who is also managed by Bob - said: "The doctors have told him that if he gets really excited the pacemaker will start to flutter, so I am trying to keep him calm - but it is difficult.
"This has opened a while new window for me. I can't believe it is happening. I keep saying to him, 'Bob, for goodness sake, don't get too excited.' "
Jean also revealed she had planned to quit showbusiness if she hadn't managed to be a success before se turned 60 on June 20.
She told The Sun newspaper: "I was going to retire on my 60th birthday, in 19 days, because I thought that my showbiz dream was over and I hadn't made anything of my life.
"But now, I hope to still be rocking into my 90s - just like the pensioners that I entertain."
