Amanda Holden
Amanda Holden is unsure if she will continue to be a judge on 'Britain's Got Talent', but is happy to have worked on the panel for five years
Amanda Holden does not know if her future as a judge on 'Britain's Got Talent' is secure.
The 40-year-old actress - who this year was on the judging panel of the show alongside comedian Michael McIntyre and actor David Hasselhoff - is unsure if she will stay on the show and may end up like Cheryl Cole, who was recently fired from her job on the US version of 'The X Factor', if boss Simon Cowell thinks it is necessary.
She said: "Who knows if I'll be back? If I get any more years out of it that would be lovely, if I don't then I've done five years.
"I think Simon is very good at knowing when people need to leave to make the show better."
However, she does think 27-year-old Cheryl should work on the British version of the show if she has been given the opportunity.
Speaking on BBC Radio 2, she added: "There is dark talk of Cheryl snubbing a return to British 'X Factor'. Please do not do this. You will regret it for a long time."
The first semi-final of 'Britain's Got Talent' takes place tonight.
