Dannii Minogue quit 'The X Factor' to make motherhood her "main priority".
The 'Australia's Got Talent' judge - who has appeared on the panel of the ITV1 show since 2007 - has revealed she quit the series because has missed spending time with her partner Kris Smith and their 11-month-old baby son Ethan.
She explained: "As any working mum knows, it is always a challenge to balance work and family time, but Ethan is always my main priority.
"I've worked my whole life and enjoy what I do, but I wish I could film every second of Ethan's day and watch it over and over."
The 39-year-old star - who went back to work on 'The X Factor' when Ethan was just two months old -wishes she could have spent more time with her baby son when he was first born.
Dannii added to Grazia magazine: "The hardest thing is those moments when we are apart where I'm longing to put my arms around him. I'm already looking back at pictures when he was first born and wishing that I could have absorbed even more of his every move.
"He is growing up so fast. His first birthday is coming around so quickly. I can't wait to get back home to Australia to start planning a baby party for him. He loves to dance, so the music playlist is probably first on the agenda."
"The best thing about being a mum is the amazing smile Ethan gives me when he's just opened his eyes or is laughing at me. That is priceless."
