Richard Winsor has joined the cast of 'Hollyoaks', playing holy hottie Father Francis
Richard Winsor has joined the cast of 'Hollyoaks'.
The Hollywood hunk - who shot to fame playing Tomas in hit movie 'Streetdance 3D' - will play religious newcomer Father Francis, and his alter-ego will immediately attract the attentions of blonde bombshell Carmel McQueen (Gemma Merna).
With lovestruck Carmel quickly falling for the off-bounds priest, she vows not to act on her animal attraction after deciding foxy Father Francis has been sent by God to test her faith.
However, as her crush for the holy hottie only deepens, the ditzy daydreamer will find it increasingly difficult to resist him.
Having already filmed his first scenes on the Channel 4 soap - which will hit TV screens in early July - Richard admitted he is thrilled with the "warm welcome" he has received from the 'Hollyoaks' cast and crew.
He said: "I didn't know what to expect but I turned up on my first day to a very warm welcome. The entire cast and crew are so friendly and supportive. Father Francis is in safe hands!"
