Dannii Minogue 'disappointed' about X Factor
Dannii Minogue has admitted she is ''disappointed'' that her commitment to 'Australia's Got Talent' means she has had to leave 'The X Factor'
Dannii Minogue is "disappointed" she is leaving 'The X Factor'.
The judge - who won the show last year with her act Matt Cardle - recently announced she won't return for this year's series due to her commitment to 'Australia's Got Talent' but said she is "moved" by her fans' support as she prepares to leave.
She told MyDaily.co.uk: "There has been a lot of speculation about me leaving 'The X Factor' this week and I have been moved by the messages I have received from fans. I'm disappointed that 'Team Minogue' can't be a part of the show again this year, but we simply couldn't make the dates work."
Although the former pop star won't be sitting on the panel anymore she will still be watching the show because she has always been its "biggest fan".
She said: "'The X Factor' is brilliant and I've been the biggest fan since the first series. This year I will be watching the show from wherever I am. Can I still dress up at home?"
Despite her disappointment, the 39-year-old designer is happy to be moving on to her next TV stint and insists she will be smiling as she flies to her native Australia this weekend.
She said: "I will be getting on the plane this weekend with the biggest smile on my face. Your kind messages of love and support this past week have filled me with so much joy."
