Dermot warns Jeremy Kyle guests off Marriage Ref
Dermot O' Leary has claimed he doesn't want the same type of guests on his new ITV1 show 'The Marriage Ref' as Jeremy Kyle features on his controversial programme.
Dermot O' Leary has warned 'The Jeremy Kyle Show' guests not to apply for his new TV show.
The 'X Factor' host will present new ITV1 show 'The Marriage Ref' which will explore quirky, funny and recognisable disputes between real-life couples but Dermot says he wants a different type of guest than those who take part in the abrasive chatshow host's programme.
He wrote on twitter: Got a new show called 'The Marriage Ref'. All v exciting etc. So if you've got a gripe with your loved one. But are STILL v in love....And want a acerbic panel to slaughter you on TV (joke) then get in touch email@example.com. Ps, J Kyle punters need not apply. X (sic)"
The programme was originally created by comedian Jerry Seinfeld and launched in America last year and Annabel Jones, managing director at Zeppotron, which is producing the show, has praised both the original concept and Dermot's "wide appeal".
She said: "This show promises to be filled with comedy moments - marriage and relationships can be unpredictable and hilarious. Dermot is a fantastic host with wide appeal and we'll be bringing some of the biggest names in comedy and entertainment to the panel. We're extremely proud to be making a series that was originally conceived by the comedy legend Jerry Seinfeld."
