Dannii Minogue to judge The Voice
Dannii Minogue has reportedly been lined up to star in a BBC version of US talent show 'The Voice'
Dannii Minogue is being lined up to judge on a BBC talent show.
The 39-year-old former 'X Factor' judge - who recently quit her role on the ITV1 programme to concentrate on 'Australia's Got Talent' - could make an instant return to UK TV on a new version of US hit 'The Voice'.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: "Bosses really want Dannii, as she was hugely popular on the 'X Factor' and really knows her stuff.
"She mentored Matt Cardle to the crown last year and is really good with contestants. She would be great on 'The Voice'."
The NBC show pulled in 10 million viewers last week and features contestants judged purely on their voice as the panel - which is made up of Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine and country artist Blake Shelton - sit with their back to the wannabes.
A BBC source said: "It is a really big hit in the US and we are looking to do our own version for next year.
"But the casting of judges is really important. It is all about getting the right people involved in order to make it work."
Dannii's replacement on 'The X Factor' is expected to be N-Dubz star Tulisa Contostavlos, with Kelly Rowland also tipped to join the panel alongside show regular Louis Walsh and new judge Gary Barlow.
Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole have quit the show to focus on the US version of 'The X Factor'.
Meanwhile, Dannii has joined forces with website MyDaily.co.uk to front their 'Amazing Women, Daily' campaign.
The initiative is designed to recognise and reward unsung heroes, with anyone able to nominate the person they believe to be Britain's most amazing woman
A public vote will determine five winners each week for seven weeks, with those chosen invited to attend a special London event hosted by Dannii later this year.
The website will donate money to breast cancer charity Coppafeel with every nomination and vote cast, with the hope of raising £20,000.
Dannii said: "I can't wait to see the stories that start coming in and I'm already looking forward to meeting some of the UK's most inspiring women."
