Jonathan Ross

Jonathan Ross is planning a TV show with Katy Perry.

The 50-year-old presenter - who has children Betty, 19, Harvey, 16, and Honey, 13, with wife Jane Goldman - is close friends with the pop star's husband Russell Brand and is currently working on different projects involving the couple.

He told new! magazine: " I'm hoping to see Russell over the summer. We talk a lot and I've actually included him as a character in a comic I've written.

"I'm hoping to do a TV special with Katy Perry, too, but that hasn't been confirmed yet. All the girls adore Katy."

While Jonathan wants to work on a show with Katy, one thing he has ruled out is a programme about movies as he doesn't want to compete with his 'Film Programme' successor Claudia Winkleman.

He said: "I was offered my own film review show with another channel, but I turned it down, partly because I didn't want to do the same thing and partly because I thought it would be petty being in competition with Claudia's show, which I like. I love Claudia and I wouldn't want to do anything that would undermine what she's doing."

Oh dear Jon (get it?)...what good will come of a special with the cupcake girl? Do you need to further your career with such delinquency? Granted it got you a rep and heap of cash but there is a certain credibility to equate.
The new shows on ITV turned out as watchable as the BBC were, and
did not lose you many followers true? I could be wrong though...if the wannabee caped crusader you have in mind for a comical expose of Ms P and her personally glorified offering to the world is true to your unique imagination then only a suitably significant comment from the
hairy one remains to validate this possible shambles.
Think Jonathon... loss of BBC 2 slot = Russell Brand.
The next CD (is that possible also after so much angst and two years)
which is being duly processed through the reign of Twitter etc. appears to read as one not covering her heartbreak as per the previous but it will be about exactly the same using a different description of it! We have had enough of gooey sticky looking alien resurrection themed diva aliens....take it easy. Unless you mean a Radio collaboration together? If you are acceptable with suggestions so far??? Happy swirly eyeballs XXX Sunny in Wales.
