RockNess adds six more names for 2011’s event
Bombay Bicycle Club head the latest additions to the Loch Ness-based festival
Bombay Bicycle Club, Sparrow & the Workshop, Afghan Raiders, D/R/U/G/S, Funeral Suits and Visions of Trees have all been added to the RockNess line up, due to take place from 10–12 June on the banks of Loch Ness.
They join a line up already bursting with big names like Kasabian, The Chemical Brothers, Paolo Nutini, The Wombats, Example, Magnetic Man and Glasvegas. Quoted as one of the UKs brightest up and coming bands, Bombay Bicycle Club will have a busy month in June. Not only are they performing at RockNess but the four-piece will be releasing their, currently untitled, third album. Accompanying them on the Saturday will be alternative rock outfit Funeral Suits, whose debut single is already seeing support from Zane Lowe, Steve Lamacq and Huw Stephens.
Folk-rock trio Sparrow and the Workshop will be providing a delightful mix of pop, rock and traditional folk while techno master D/R/U/G/S (aka Callum Wright) will be enthralling the crowds with his DIY electronica.
