X Factor final to be held at Wembley
This year's 'X Factor' final is reportedly set to be held at London's Wembley Arena in front of 12,500 fans
This year's 'X Factor' final is to be held at Wembley Arena.
While in previous series contestants have performed in front of a live studio audience, the revamped 'X Factor' will see the final acts - which last year included eventual winner Matt Cardle, Rebecca Ferguson, boyband One Direction and teen rapper Cher Lloyd - attempt to wow crowds of 12,500 fans.
An insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Wembley Arena is one of the UK's most iconic venues. More fans will be able to watch and create a fantastic atmosphere."
Meanwhile, the line-up of the 'X Factor' judging panel is still very much up in the air - with Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole quitting the show to launch it Stateside - with the likes of Lily Allen, Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams all being considered for roles.
However, one star who won't be becoming a panellist anytime soon is N-Dubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos, who was reportedly removed from the shortlist after stunning bosses with a foul-mouthed outburst during a secret audition.
An insider recently revealed: "Tulisa did do a one-hour audition but was turned down because she couldn't stop swearing.
"It was all the time and bosses became worried about putting her on live TV in front of millions of viewers, including children.
"If she ended up cursing or making a rude comment live on the show, the programme would get into serious trouble."
