Although he wowed the judges and audience on 'Britain's Got Talent' on Saturday (30.04.11), contestant Ronan Parke was ''terrified'' before his performance.

'Britain's Got Talent' contestant Ronan Parke was "terrified" before auditioning for the judges on Saturday (30.04.11).

The 12-year-old singing sensation - who has been compared to pop star Justin Bieber after his successful appearance on the ITV1 talent show - suffered badly with nerves before taking to the stage, according to show hosts Ant and Dec.

They said: "Surely the star of this week's show was 12 year-old Ronan Parke, who was absolutely terrified before going on stage but really need not have been. He received a well-deserved standing ovation from the entire audience in the HMV Hammersmith Apollo and the three judges too, not often that that's happened believe us.

"He was ecstatic, as were his family and there were tears of joy from him and from his family with us in the wings. What an amazing experience for a 12 year-old. But the best bit of it for Ronan? He got a full day off school. Jammy git!"

The presenting duo were also impressed with boyband Out of the Blue, who surprised them by performing Lady Gaga's 'Bad Romance'

Writing on their official blog, Ant and Dec added: "Out Of The Blue were brilliant, they were the collection of very well turned out young students from Oxford who surprised us all by launching into Lady Gaga complete with choreography moves, when we'd all been expecting them to be more, how would you describe it? A bit more, 'You Raise Me Up', you know what we mean!?"
