Jessie J claims she ''won't sleep'' until she's as successful as 'Born This Way' singer Lady Gaga

Jessie J "won't sleep" until she's as successful as Lady Gaga.

The 'Price Tag' hitmaker explained she won't feel happy with her career until she can feel comfortable around the likes of huge US stars such as Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Rihanna.

She said: "I want to sit there with the Katy Perrys and the Gagas and the Rihannas and feel comfortable. I don't want to be the British chick who tried to make it and didn't. I'm not going to sleep until that happens!"

Jessie also admitted she is hoping to take her music all around the world, and is prepared to work her "butt off" to fly the flag for British artists.

She added to Top of the Pops magazine: "I'm basically trying to release music the whole way around the world at one time. It's crazy to know I can take my music to the US as well as the UK and Japan and Australia.

"I want to fly the flag around the world. I think the UK deserves someone who will work their butt off and go out there and go for it."
