Eminem is teaming up with Royce Da 5'9'' for the first time in over 10 years to record an EP
Eminem is teaming up with former collaborator Royce Da 5'9" on a new EP.
The pair previously worked together on the rapper's debut album 'The Slim Shady LP' in 1999 and again on single 'Nuttin' to Do' under the name Bad Meets Evil, but were later rumoured to be involved in a feud, though they have now put their differences behind them.
Royce - whose group Slaughterhouse signed to Eminem's record label in January - said: "I'm excited to see this project come to fruition considering the long lapse in time between when we worked before and now. We had a blast doing it and we just hope everyone enjoys it while we're working on the monster that will be the Slaughterhouse album."
Eminem admitted the pair had no definite plans to record together again once they repaired their friendship.
He told MTV: "Royce and I started hanging out again and inevitably that led us back into the studio. At first we were just seeing where it went without any real goal in mind, but the songs started to come together crazy, so here we are."
The as-yet untitled EP, which will also feature DJ Khlalil, Mobb Deep's Havoc and Bangladesh, will be released in June.
