A sexy Britney Spears impersonator has been banned from being shown on 'Britain's Got Talent' at the last minute after TV bosses deemed her act too ''risky'' to be shown to a family audience.

A raunchy Britney Spears lookalike has been banned from being shown on 'Britain's Got Talent'.

Lorna Bliss, 30 - who bears a striking resemblance to the pop princess - reportedly failed to impress the ITV1 programme's judges Amanda Holden, David Hasselhoff and Michael McIntyre when she writhed in front them of in a sheer bodystocking, yet was still put through to the televised stages by boss Simon Cowell.

However, after Ofcom rapped Simon and ITV1 for showing raunchy performances by Rihanna and Christina Aguilera on 'The X Factor' last year, Lorna's sexy act is now being cut from television screens in case viewer complaints lead to a £500,000 fine from the TV watchdog.

An ITV insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Until yesterday Lorna was in the show, but when they saw the edit they thought it was too risky.

"Simon likes the show to be as sexy and controversial as possible but now is not the time to be taking chances.

"OfCom could have seen it as show bosses sticking two fingers up at their authority."

Last year the show received 40 complains for featuring burlesque act Fabia Cerra, who appeared on stage topless apart from two small Union Jack stickers.

In December 2,800 'X factor' viewers complained about Rihanna and Christina'a revealing outfits including stockings, suspenders and strapless bras, with many saying they were not suitable for family viewing before the 9pm watershed.
