Lauren Goodger defends Mark Wright
'The Only Way Is Essex' star Lauren Goodger is sick of people claiming fiance Mark Wright has cheated on her and says he only romances other women when they are on one of their many breaks
'The Only Way Is Essex' star Lauren Goodger insists fiance Mark Wright has never cheated on her.
Although 24-year-old nightclub promoter Mark has recently romanced a string of beauties - including co-stars Lucy Mecklenburgh and Sam Faiers and former Playboy beauty Kayla Collins - Lauren who has dated Mark on-and-off for nine years insists all his womanising occurred when they were on a break.
She said: "It's easy for people to get confused about who he's seeing and who he isn't. But as far as I know when he's been seeing these other girls, we've been broken up. I don't think Mark is a cheater. I think we have just broken up a lot. This is where people get confused. He's been single and people might not agree with it but he's a young lad and is going to try things out with other girls."
Lauren also revealed she is sick of people feeling sorry for her and wishes they would realise she is delighted about her engagement.
She added in an interview with the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Now we're back together and people think 'Poor Lauren, that he's cheated. But actually he hasn't. I won't let him go and he won't let me go because we get on really well. We have great banter and we love all the same things. We're just right for each other."
