Ant and Dec glad to say goodbye to humourless Simon Cowell

Ant and Dec are pleased to have said goodbye to "humourless" Simon Cowell on 'Britain's Got Talent'.
The duo - who co-host the ITV1 show - admitted since the 51-year-old music mogul and Piers Morgan departed the series to pursue projects in the US, their replacements, comedian Michael McIntyre and former 'Baywatch' hunk David Hasslehoff, have given helped to "freshen up" the 'BGT' format.
Dec told BANG Showbiz: "It's really nice because the show is just so much more fresh now. This is season five and having two new judges in there just gives the whole thing a really different feel. They like slightly different acts to Simon and Piers.
"Comedians and magicians never used to get much of a look-in in previous years because Simon and Piers don't have much of a sense of humour. Now we've got two new judges who enjoy a good laugh, we're getting a wider variety of acts."
However, furry friends don't look set to enjoy the same level of success they have in previous years since dog-lover Simon has departed the show.
Speaking at last night's (15.03.11) Royal Television Society Awards at London's Grosvenor House Hotel, Dec added: "Although dogs have definitely got less of a chance now Simon has gone - we all know he loves a dog!"
Ant and Dec picked up the award for Best Entertainment Performance at last night's ceremony for their work on 'Britain's Got Talent' and jungle-based reality show 'I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!'.
