Spotify playlist: T in the Park 2011

Highlight from the line-up, including Pulp, Friendly Fires and The Streets
It's that time of year again. As yet another blisteringly cold winter shows signs of giving in, we can once again start to dream of the greenest pastures, cold refreshments and a beating sun to boot.
Additionally, we can look forward with a hopeful gaze to the newly announced T in the Park line-up, praying that the annual downpour holds off until the Sunday night and that, just once, we can immerse ourselves in the Kinross sunshine.
Weather aside, DF Concerts have lined up what is sure to be a cracker this July. With some of the biggest names in dance and electronica on show, The Slam Tent is sure to excel even its own highest standards while The Foo Fighters, Blink 182 and Sheffield rockers Arctic Monkeys are set to headline the main stages.
The organisers have clearly endeavoured to cater for the older generations too as Blondie, Tom Jones, Pulp, Cast and Ocean Colour Scene are set to perform in front of the masses, while The Saturdays, Ke$ha and The Script, ensuring the wishes of the predominantly younger crowd will not be ignored.
Now spanning four days, the 'weekend' is set to be something of a marathon for festival-goers, but in the eyes of many a T in the Park veteran, this provides the perfect opportunity to take a step back from the daily routine and get lost, quite literally, in a field with thousands of like-minded others.
